I pay in money on my debit card and make trades with Sippdeal.

They do these basics very well and I am happy.

I even get e-mails when dividends arrive, which is a useful reminder that there may be new cash to invest.

The Halifax interface is the easiest, the TD Direct one is easily the worst.

Their dealing platform seems better than the TD Direct ones I use for other accounts.

Well done with your 58% gain. With the Thai market PE over 16 now (according to the FT), perhaps now is not the best time to invest in this one.

Samsung make some very nice looking competing products. History says no company has ever sustained a lead in consumer electronics. I just couldn't handle the risk associated with Apple.
