Re: My Feb 2016 HYP(ISA) Top Up

There seems to be some confusion between PSON (Pearson) and PSN (Persimmon).

Hi bouleversee,

Re: My Feb 2016 HYP(ISA) Top Up

Further to my post, are there any sectors that are worth adding to the HYP? I had thought about a house builder, a water utility maybe, even Pearson (PSON. Or am I overthinking it? Am I sufficiently diversified?

Regards,

Ian.

Re: My Feb 2016 HYP(ISA) Top Up

Thanks for your input guys,

My feelings exactly regarding Next (NXT). I hold Mark & Spencer (MKS) in my HYP(SIPP), and I'd rather them than Next.
For April I'm looking at Carillion (CLLN).

Ian

Re: GSK Final Results

Not HYP shares anymore, IMHO, for anyone with a 20 year view. Next year, the year after, yes. But by 2040, there will be no tobacco industry to speak of.

Such futurising is a waste of time IMHO. I don't know what's happening next [more]

Re: Imperial Brands PLC (IMB)

Sensible name change. Tobacco is a toxic word, as well as a toxic product.

To me the name of the company is immaterial. The company is a sound one, paying a great dividend/yield. As a HYPer, that's all that matters.
