Indeed. If you can move the cash and rebuy your holdings within 30 days, the matching rules mean that it shouldn't generate a large CGT bill. Its a bit more expensive as you would have to pay dealing charges on the sales.

I'm pleased to announce that some of the holdings I requested to move to another major broker have now appeared in the new brokers account. The request was sent in early January 2015.
